Some of them have the most amazing images on them: garish, tacky, wonderful screen-printed logos and representations of colourful produce. It looks as if they haven't changed since the 1950s.
While I feel like these work well as standalone pieces, the 'readymade' is foreign territory for me, and I'm still trying to work out what to do with these now that I have them on hand.
For now I'm just playing with them like giant lego. Below is a 'food pyramid.'
