When I visited Brisbane last year I was lucky enough to see Sachiko Kazama’s enormous woodblock print ‘Nonhuman Crossing,’ 2014, on display at the exhibition 'We Can Make Another Future’, in the Gallery of Modern Art. Above is a detail shot and a photo which gives an idea of its scale. Her woodblock prints are enormous. The amazing part is that there is no compromise in the detail. You can get completely lost in them - I was absorbed in this one for hours.
